Letter to participants

What is CAL

CAL Conference is an exciting, fun filled, action packed weekend of leadership and networking. Our Conference is called C.A.L.--Creating A Leader-- Conference. This amazing conference brings together youth from different counties to bond and become the leaders of tomorrow.

Why Should You Go?

CAL is a great opportunity to meet new 4-Hers from different counties and bond with those you already know. Over the period of three days you will learn many useful leadership skills such as conflict management and how to give constructive criticism. There are also small leadership roles that delegates can volunteer for prior to the Conference, these include Workshop Presenter, Cabin Leader, or County Contact.

CAL is also a great conference for those who are not yet old enough to attend the State Leadership Conference and would like to know what SLC is all about before going. There will be great guest speakers and workshops that will be teaching up-and-coming leaders the ins-and-outs of various leadership skills, along with a fun twist.
