Dog Fun Day

Check in at 9:00 AM. Event starts shortly after.

Open to ALL YOUTH and their non-aggressive dogs. (Members do NOT need to be registered in a Dog Project in order to participate or attend.)

A parent or guardian must stay for entire event.

All dogs must be on leash.

Youth will be entered in all events. Opportunity to opt-out is provided at check-in.

Clinics and Competitions to learn valuable skills:

  • Showmanship Clinic
  • Grooming Clinic
  • Rally Obedience Clinic
  • Showmanship Competition
  • Rally Obedience Competion

Fun Games for you and your dog to compete in:

Dress Up - bring your favorite dog costume to participate (homemade or purchased costumes are acceptable).

Hot Dog Bobbing - how many hot dogs can you dog eat in a minute?

Dog Dance - prepare a routine up to 1 minute with your dog doing tricks. Music must be selected from; "Pink Panther theme", "These Boots are Made for Walking" or "Ghost Busters".

Sit-Stay Contest - practice having your dog sit and stay for a period of time.

Recall Contest - you will be timed on how fast your dog comes to you after being called.

Dog Bowling - see how fast you can get your dog to knock over the pins.
