What is Project Skills Day?
Project Skills Day is a county event where youth learn to present in a one-on-one setting.
The youth create a educational display board about something they have learned in one of their 4-H projects and present about it at Project Skills Day.
This event is great for first time public speakers because rather than presenting to a room of people, they are only presenting to one person.
This event is also a great practice for Presentation Day- presenters can get feedback on their presentation and public speaking skills so that they can improve for Presentation Day.
Teen or parent volunteers are needed to evaluate presentations, there will be a training before presentations start, and each club must send at least 1 evaluator for every 3 presenters.
Both evaluators and presenters must sign up by January 18th to participate.
