Contra Costa County 4-H hosts many County-level events during the year.  

Event Description Date
Achievement Night Achievement Night is where 4-H members receive their awards and recognition for the previous 4-H year. These include Star Ranks, Special Awards, and Scholarships, as well as a fun 4-H slide show with pictures from the various clubs. 10/09/2021
Community Service  A monthly service to donate time or goods to a local organization. September to June
Fashion Revue  An opportunity for members to show off the knowledge, skills and creativity they have used to create various clothing or textile related entries. Tentative 4/23/2022
Field Day New for 2021! This event will have an opportunity for youth to evaluate, present and learn about the different county events offered. 10/16/2021
Food Fiesta 4-H members show off their culinary skills and knowledge.  2/12/2022
Presentation Day There are many different types of presentations, which allows the participant to choose the style that best fits their presentation and then try other styles as they advance in 4-H. 2/26/2022
Project Skills Day Practice your public speaking skills in preparation for Presentation Day! Members get valuable feedback from the evaluators on ways to improve their presentations. All presentations at this event must be educational displays. Combined with Field Day 2021
Showmanship Clinic Designed for 4-H members to improve their showmanship skills. 3/19/2022
Stills Event 4-H member showcase their art. TBD for 2022
4-H Camp
A week-long resident camp located in the Las Posadas State Forest North East of Saint Helena in Napa County. TBD for 2022
